The Barrington Council for the Gifted & Talented (BCGT) invites students in grades 4–6 to join us for the next event in our Writing Workshop Series: the Outline Workshop, in partnership with Ben Fiedor, PhD.

Great stories start with great ideas—but learning how to organize those ideas can make all the difference! In this hands-on workshop, students will learn how to create an outline, develop stronger characters and plots, and build the structure they need to turn their ideas into a powerful first draft.

✏️ During the Workshop, Students Will:

• Organize their ideas before they begin writing

• Learn practical outlining strategies

• Develop characters, settings, conflicts, and resolutions

• Build a strong beginning, middle, and end

• Turn an outline into the foundation for a first draft

• Build confidence and stronger writing habits

  
  

Maximum enrollment: 15 students.

Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged!
