About the Event
Join us for the Microsoft STEAM & Prompt-a-Thon (In-Person) event, open to high school juniors and seniors, as well as college students!
The countdown to Microsoft STEAM & Prompt-a-Thon is on! Get ready for an exciting day of innovation and competition, experiencing the power of STEAM and Prompt Engineering!
Keynote Presentation:
Danny Kim, Founder/CTO at Full Armor and CEO at Quest Institute, will deliver an inspiring talk on launching a successful career in cybersecurity. Whether you’re a student or just starting out, Danny will guide you through the essential skills needed to break into this fast-growing field. It’s not just about learning to code or securing systems—it’s about building a strong ethical foundation, being curious, and developing problem-solving skills that will set you apart. Don’t miss this chance to learn from one of the top leaders in the industry!
Event Highlights:
Event highlights include prizes for top performers, a Copilot Prompting Competition, and a panel conversation focusing on early career opportunities, including internships, mentorship, networking, and interview skills. Following the keynote and panel, we’ll host a master class on Copilot prompting, inviting students to an exciting day of innovation and the Copilot Prompt-a-Thon competition. There will be fun prizes for the top winners.
Thanks to the generous donations from our BCGT community (please consider donating to BCGT here (Donate | BCGT 220), as well as a generous award from the Microsoft Community Empowerment Fund, managed by the Microsoft Datacenter Community Development Team, we are excited to offer our STEAM event for FREE to everyone! However, registration is required, so be sure to sign up now to secure your spot.
This event is not hosted by BCGT. However, it is made possible thanks to their generous funding. Please note, there will be no bus transportation provided. However, you can take the Metra train or park at the Aon Center parking lot (parking fees apply).
