Maker Lab: Custom Tumbler Sublimation Workshop

BCGT invites students in grades 4–6 to join us for a hands-on Custom Tumbler Sublimation Workshop at the Barrington Area Library MakerLab!

Students will use Canva to create their own custom tumbler design and then learn how the sublimation process brings their digital artwork to life. With the help of the Library's MakerLab, each student's design will be transferred onto a tumbler that they can take home and enjoy! 🎨🥤✨

This creative workshop gives students an opportunity to explore digital design, creativity, and the sublimation processwhile creating something completely their own.

Participation is limited to 12 students, and advance registration is required. 📝

• Participants must have access to a Canva account in order to participate.

• Students should confirm that they can successfully log in to their Canva account before arriving at the workshop.

• Students must bring the login information needed to access their account.

• Due to the limited workshop time, students who are unable to access a Canva account at the beginning of the session will not be able to participate.

• Individual Canva account or login troubleshooting will not be available during the workshop.

What Students Will Do

• Design a personalized tumbler using Canva 💻

• Learn about the sublimation process

• See how a digital design is transferred onto a physical item

• Watch their design come to life

• Take home their custom tumbler! 🎁
